Resumen

Esta investigación instrumental del Cuestionario de Relación (RQ) construido por Bartholomew y Horowitz (1991) y traducido por Yárnoz-Yaben y Comino (2011), adapta sus 5 ítems para la población masculina de Arequipa, a partir de la evaluación de una muestra de 413 varones entre 18 y 35 años. Se modificaron 2 ítems y el análisis factorial confirmatorio arrojó un modelo unidimensional identificado de 4 ítems con un ajuste satisfactorio. El RQ constituye un instrumento referencial para la identificación de estilos de apego sin varianza etaria que debe ser contrastada con la evaluación clínica o utilizado en casos en que su medida es de importancia secundaria.
