Abstract
The present instrumental design study examined the psychometric properties of the Mexican version of the SA-45 (Symptom Assessment-45) in a sample of 400 male and female university students in Peru. This study provided psychometric data that revealed adequate evidence of content validity for all the items whose values were greater than 0.7, and the indices of the 9-factor model were favorable (RMSEA= .003; SRMR= .005; CFI= 1; TLI=1). Furthermore, when evaluating reliability, the results of all the factors were above 0.8, suggested that the test is concise and equitable, since it offers greater consistency in its factor structure and a decrease in the overlap between its dimensions.
